Who makes Solana Staking
Solana Staking is made by {AuthorName}, who has run Solana validators since {operatorSince}. We built it because the existing validator sites were made by operators for operators. This one explains validators in plain words for the people who stake, using one public formula for every validator.
Who we are
I'm {AuthorName}. I've worked in IT since I was fifteen and have built automated systems for financial markets since 2008. On Solana I've run validators on mainnet since {operatorSince}. I went through the Solana Foundation's testnet program for validators before going to mainnet. I've set up and maintained validator servers, automatic failover and upgrades without downtime — the unglamorous work that decides whether a validator's stakers keep earning.
Why we built this
When I ran a validator, delegators kept asking me the same questions: which validator is safe, why their rewards dropped, whether a 0% validator is a trap. The sites they were sent to showed vote credits, skip rates and superminority charts — useful to operators, confusing to everyone else. So we built the page we wished we could send them: a verdict first, the numbers one click away.
What we promise
- One formula for every validator. Published in full on the methodology page, with a change log.
- Every number explained. If we show it, there's a one-line explanation of what it means for your rewards.
- Red flags louder than green. A validator that's offline, blacklisted or raised its fees is flagged before anything else.
- Your SOL stays yours. You stake from your own wallet. We never hold, move or ask for your SOL, keys or seed phrase.
Where the data comes from
The Solana network itself, Jito for MEV data, Jito and Marinade for blacklists, and the Solana Foundation's delegation program. Everything is updated every epoch, about every 1–2 days. The full list is on the methodology page.
